It is also referred to as the “Hoki Fuji” and as such, from particular angles, the mountain resembles the world renowned Mt.Fuji.Despite the height of 1729M, you are able to experience dramatic views much like those from Alps. Up until the 5 station of the mountain, the biggest beech forest in Western Japan extends around this mountain with many wild species of birds greeting us along the way and from around the ６ station of the mountain, you are able to look down on the sea of Japan.
On the summit of the mountain is the “Daisen Kyaraboku” forest and flower fields, which are always with many climbers.
Daisen guesthouse JUAN is located in walking distance from the starting point of Mt.Daisen.
It is easy to go to Mt.Daisen , walks through the beech forest and visiting Ogamiyama shrine or Daisen temple. Moreover, during winter, the ski slopes are a 15 minute distance from JUAN and is a convenient residency for skiers.
You are also able to enjoy winter mountain climbs and snow shoeing. Mt.Daisen has enjoyments all throughout the 4 seasons.

The nearest supermarket is a 20 minute drive from JUAN and there are no convenience stores in the area, so we recommend customers to prepare and bring their own groceries before arriving at JUAN.We recommend “Gouen hot spring“which is a 5 minute walk away from JUAN.There are some restaurants and cafes near here.

Approximately 50minutes from JR Yonago Station(No.4bus terminal)
to the end point :Daisen temple bus stop（Daisen national park center）

By Car
There is no parking lot in JUAN.
Please use the Daisen state carpark number 1~5, which is a 3~5 minute walk from JUAN.
Free parking from the end of March to the mid of December.
During ski season, parking is at a set price.
Additionally, during ski season, traffic around JUAN area is restricted.
